Healthcare Assistance
As a country, we are grappling with poor health services. The health worker to patient ratio is dismal, to compound this, health centers are ill equipped and the remote ones not sufficiently staffed. Additionally the average Ugandan family can not afford to meet these healthcare costs. Despite debate in Parliament, the National Health Insurance Policy has not yet been put in place.
The Gleam of hope, standing by our reason for existence can not watch on, we have been able to use the limited resources at our disposal to bridge the gap in the communities where we serve.
